"This is the oldest operating hotel in Florida, dating from 1833. Very quaint and charming. We stayed in the main inn and enjoyed our time. However, the carpet in the room was shabby and the bed was very uncomfortable. Just needs some updating. The restaurants are very good and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. "

"This was our first visit to the Villages and this was the perfect house & location. This village was so quiet and backing on the golf course was perfect. The location is so close to several of the community/rec centers, community pool an easy walk or minutes on golf cart, and minutes on the golf cart to the popular Spanish Springs for everything from shopping, dining and entertainment. We loved the golf cart and especially the heated pool making our stay even more perfect. The extra amenities provided were so nice when it was just the 2 of us in the house. Much appreciated not having to purchase extra toiletries for our week stay. Everything at this house is very well thought out and well appointed. Kitchen was missing nothing and wifi and all technology worked perfectly. Everything was nice and clean with lovely decor and furnishings. We especially appreciated the correspondence with Jen as she was very quick to respond to our inquiries when booking and everything was as indicated. We felt so safe in this area which was important for us. We cannot say enough about how lovely this property was. We will look forward to booking again for our next village vacation. "
