"Fantastic location to walk to anything downtown. We went to Billy Strings concerts at Bridgestone and Ryman and only time we used our car was to go to a restaurant and shopping outside of downtown. Only drawback was we were on 3rd floor(no elevator) and the room was warm. A/C does not cool fast and only cools the main room. Bedroom still warm. Otherwise good use of our money."

My 90 year old mom was a patient at Vanderbilt University Hospital and this studio is an easy and safe 1/2 mile walk to the hospital. The bed was very comfortable. "My wife and I were on a short weekend get-a-way at the end of the holiday season. We had long wanted to visit the Franklin area and we called this short visit a reconnaisance trip to check it out. The Iglesita (little chapel, as it is called by the owners) was a highlight of the trip. It surpassed our expectations. The pictures are very accurate. "Our stay at General's Retreat was comfortable and cozy. The fireplace was a plus and not far from the downtown area. "

"This was my wife and I's first time in Nashville, and this rental was a great home base. The location was convenient for everything that we planned to see during our short visit. It was clean and comfortable. The staircase was a tad steep for our black lab, but she eventually conquered them. We would definitely consider rebooking if we're in the area again. Host was very nice and attentive."

"The property was clean, conveniently located to person we were visited, and mostly comfortable. Only 2 comments: 1) The air conditioner/heater fan is very loud and can't be turned down unless temperature is lowered. 2) The bedside lamps have a solid cover, which prevents enough light for reading in bed.
