"Property is clean and located close to many things to do in the area. We spent a day at the waterpark in Grand Bear Resort, went to Cedar Creek Ranch for a horse ride, and did a hike at Matthiessen State Park. Will definitely come back again. "

Guest guide was thorough and house well stocked with supplies-even those we expected to provide for ourselves.Large dining table worked for meals if we brought a folding chair in from patio for an extra seat. "This a beautiful home in a fantastic location only a block from downtown and a short drive to Stsrved Rock. The house is beautiful with tons of character and modern features. The bedroom layout was perfect for our very inviting and the back deck and firepits were very inviting to enjoy even cool weather. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Quick trip to Illinois for fall break. My family loved the house. We all had rooms on separate floors and with teenagers they loved it! The area was really nice. Enjoyed some hiking at nearby Starved Rock State Park and Matthiessen State Park. Also drove in to Chicago quick for a Bulls game. "

"We went to Pirates Cov waterpark. Starve Rock hiking. But when we came back to the house it was like home. We all live in the country in Indiana and love it. Very clean lots of room. The kids had fun deciding what room they were going to sleep in. Thank u so much for our stsy"

"We enjoyed the view from our rental and the quietness of the community. I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the rental. The furniture was in bad shape and the level of cleanliness was not to my standard. Kitchen table was wobbly and couch and chair were not comfortable. You could bounce in the chair when you sat down.
