"Everything was as advertised. We did have some minor issues with the heating unit but we figured it out eventually. Also, the dishwasher did not work but we only needed it at the end of our stay. I'm sure it'll get fixed."

"The location, space and surrounding were good but there were bugs including a wasp in one of the rooms which the management took time to come and clean up"

"The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit....

"The property was very clean and welcoming. We had some issues with finding the place, but we found it. The kids really enjoyed the space. The jacuzzi tub was a bonus. "

"We had four families come together for a long weekend. Grandma’s cabin was perfect for us as there were four bedrooms and large living/sleeping/dining space in the middle. It was great for “cousin camp.“ The nearby parks and towns were easy to get to and explore. The host was very easy to communicate with, if needed."

"Great little place. We stayed early in the week to hike starved rock so there was not a lot of action in the resort. We were a little bummed the blind wouldn’t stay up in the loft and there was no needle on the record player. That’s not enough to keep me from giving it a good review though. Would stay again. "

"Beautiful home and stay. Felt like they owners thought of everything.Everything was clean. We did find a toe nail and a used Qtip on the ground. But other then that is was a beautiful few days. We walked on the trails and went back to a cozy, tiny home. :)"
