"Our family needed to find a place to stay that was affordable and immediate, due to loss of a family member. Our host, Martin, was very accommodating and helpful throughout this process. Our cabin was very clean and had alot of extra’s, such as a washer and dryer and full kitchen equipped with mostly anything we needed to be able to cook for all of us. The location was both beautiful and peaceful and this was comforting in our downtime, and much needed, due to the circumstances."

"Eleven of us (8 adults and 3 young children) stayed at Elaine’s home for a weekend or fun, laughter and hiking. The house was extremely clean and the beds were super cozy. The backyard was a perfect size to enjoy privacy, the fire pit and a game of catch. Elaine’s recommendation binder was so helpful and informative on the local restaurants, hiking and shopping. "A great all-around experience. Lot's of room to relax, a nice big kitchen with a breakfast bar, and all a stone's throw from Starved Rock. I loved the balcony off the bedroom and the jacuzzi. The Grand Bear lodge has a great bar as well. Great restaurant options between Utica, Peru and Ottawa, or venture over to the Starved Rock state park lodge restaurant."

"My husband and I stayed for a weekend so we could be close to the state parks. It was the PERFECT location. We visited the surrounding towns, parks and Ottowa's walking trails and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and a 4 minute drive to downtown and 15-20 to the 3 parks. Sierra was a great host - easy in and easy out. We had everything we needed, and communication was great. We will stay again next time we're in the area!"

"Beautiful, newly constructed home with so many amenities! Everything in the house was first rate. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, no overcrowding. The kids loved the beach area, playing pickleball, cooling off in the pool and renting a pontoon boat at the marina."

"We rented Coty’s House for my granddaughter and her wedding party. So few places to stay in the area. She loved the house! It was spacious, convenient and clean. Diane was a wonderful communicator! This was the first time I had rented through Vrbo and he helped through my hiccups with great patience. Highly recommend this home if you are in the Streator area!"

"This cottage is super cute, outfitted for fun on the lake. It's great for a couple with small kids. The stairs up to the loft are a bit treacherous but the bunkbeds are cute and comfy. The back patio is perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine enjoying the sunset over the pond."

"Add stated a pool and then when you booked it you had to pay another HOA fee of 100.00 before we got there, they changed it to 300.00 but we already had a contract. Can't use the beach, playground or pool without paying the fee. The booking should list that. Minimal pool hours too The house was very nice. Lots of room. We will probably look elsewhere next year due to the pool drama."
