"Needed an extra night and got a room through Hotels.com. Was there for a wedding. The room was small but the location was where I wanted to be and the breakfast was very good. "

"This hotel was gorgeous! I didn't know if it would live up to the pictures online but it exceeded them. The views are spectacular! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful. Convenient free parking. The staff was very gracious and welcoming. I would absolutely go back! "

"This is a beautiful Tuscany experience. Very small property perched on a hill, very well appointed and large rooms, gorgeous views, beautiful surrounding vineyards for endless walking, spectacular pool, ultra-foodie restaurant. One warning, do not recommend this if anyone in the party gets carsick. It is far off the beaten track, with lots of curvy roads, and a considerable amount of gravel roads."

"We were pleasantly surprised for the very reasonable price in late March, to get a whole suite, very large veranda (vs. other rooms), nice marble all over the place and an excellent breakfast buffet! So a classy, comfortable room, very convenient to both Etruscan museums and both necropolis. ✅ What's not to like at the best hotel in Tarquinia? "

"There are no words to describe how amazing this property is! From the moment we arrived, the staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. They greeted us by name, which was absolutely wonderful. We were given a tour of the property followed by lunch. The food at this Castello is simply divine. Everything is farm-to-table and they only use the highest of ingredients. "The host of this property was very kind accommodating and helpful with our stay in Orvieto. The room was up a flight of stairs and was a nice apartment. It was very clean and close by to the walking areas of the town. It was slightly difficult to find at first however they were able to communicate with us on WhatsApp and help us find their property as well as bring us to a parking spot. The garage was a little way away from the property, but it was easy for us to access and have a safe spot for our car. Orvieto is a beautiful town, and our host was amazing with helping us out and very kind. Overall, a good experience."

"Llegar al hotel de la Fortezza es como entrar a un cuento. No solo por el paisaje de los alrededores sino por cada detalle en el cuidado de cada cosa. El servicio de las chicas que atienden en la recepción es impecable, el servicio de desayuno es extraordinario y la comodidad de las habitaciones también es destacable. Sin lugar a dudas lo recomendamos y volveremos con el resto de nuestra familia para que ellos también vivan esta experiencia única e inolvidable en uno de los pocos lugares históricos del mundo que aún quedan habitables. No se lo pierdan!!"
