"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Once you arrive in Belize City, you are chartered to a marina (15 min) then taken by boat (30 min) to the island. You are greeted by staff immediately with cocktails waiting for you. The stay is intimate… you are 1 of 32 max guests on an island. (During our stay there were maybe 15 guests total at one time). "Small intimate property with exceptional staff. We booked the over water cabana and were surprised that it was on the cove side of the island so no waves. Also, there isn’t really a beach because they had to put in a wall to stop erosion. "

"The hotel staff was very nice and they kept the place clean. But the hotel itself needs to be renovated and upgraded. The gym needs newer equipment. Rixy at the bar is so wonderful. I could sit down and laugh and talk with her all night. She was so friendly and warm to everyone she waited on. A blessing in that business. But my stay was good for the whole week. "Unusually odor in room, was easy to dismiss after a few minutes. Heard steps above us very often. Our room did not have much of an outside view. Staff was very kind and room was kept very clean. And very close to the water taxi"

"Budget friendly hotel. The hotel doesn't have a hair dryer, ironing board or a good restaurant. They do have a snack bar and cold and headache meds which was convenient. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating but the facility is a bit run down. Particles were dropping from the curtain. They cleaned the room everyday and that was good. "

"Dream Valley was beautiful. Stayed in a King room on the river and watched the parrots in the morning and listened to the howler monkeys. We would take a dip in the pool after a full day of activities. Anderson was awesome:). The only thing they could not accommodate us with was a massage. I guess you need to book way in advance. But not a deal breaker. We would definitely go back."

"The hotel was nice and very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The shower only had cold water- but not so cold to be torturous. The location was right in the middle of the city with many narrow one way-streets, and cars and people everywhere. We found it challenging and stressful to get there. We were lucky to have a parking spot right in front, but there is not an abundance of parking in the daytime if you have a rental car."

"The apartment was clean and quiet. There was some construction going on at the time (upgrades to other units?), so the patio area was a bit cluttered but accessible. It will be really nice when the pool is installed!! For a week long stay, it would have been nice to have a sofa/loveseat to sit on in the apartment and perhaps a small chest of drawers, instead of having to sit on the bed to watch TV and leave clothes in the suitcase. Appreciated all the info provided and access to the bikes....
