"A comfortable and practical house centrally located in Ars en Re, everything is in walking distance. The house is well equipped and would easily accommodate 4 people. Slight shame that bedrooms look out on parking area. Ars is a lovely village with shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants and it’s a great base for exploring the island. We hired bikes and spent a very happy week cycling to lovely beaches, spotting birds and eating oysters! Wyatt our contact was friendly, helpful and responsive."

"Nous avons profité du beau temps dans un cadre très agréable, jardin ombragé où nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas sauf un (pluie). Couchages corrects. Un peu juste en termes de sdb/wc pour une douzaine de personnes. La cuisine est grande et bien équipée, c'est appréciable, tout comme le séjour et le bureau où il y a beaucoup de place. Un petit souci avec la machine à laver le linge, indiqué à Jocelyne lors du départ car ne nécessitant pas de la déranger auparavant. "

"Beau gite dans une habitation récente à l'exterieur de La Rochelle mais très bien desservie par un service de bus. Le bus passe toutes les heures et l'arrêt se trouve à 3 minutes du gite ou un P+r à 20 minutes pas de souci de parking lors de votre visite de La Rochelle . Le propriétaire du gite est très accueillant et fait en sorte que votre séjour se passe agréablement . Magasin de proximités dans l'Houmeau et accès à la plage a pied ."

"Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans ce gîte fonctionnel et spacieux, au calme avec un grand jardin ! Il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire dans les environs, à 15-30 minutes de voitures (plages, vélo, balade en barque, villes balnéaires, parc aquatique..). Laurence et sa famille sont très accueillants. Nous recommandons !"

"Tout d’abord, merci à Anne qui a su se montrer compréhensible et nous a accueilli tardivement. Concernant le logement, cette petite maison est tout simplement magnifique, très joliment décoré et très bien situé à quelques pas de la Cotinière et pas très loin non plus du supermarché. Ne manque que des volets 😉 Une fois les valises posées, il ne reste plus qu’à louer des vélos et votre séjour sera parfait."

"The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...

The sheets were very old and faded and there were no towels (despite them being specifically mentioned on the apartment description). We were told by the owner that we were entitled to compensation for this since we had had to buy our own, but this has not happened. "We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
