"We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house for one week in late August/September. It was everything and more that we hoped for! The house has been restored and renovated by the owners with so much apparent love and attention to detail, it's a true delight. "Beau gite dans une habitation récente à l'exterieur de La Rochelle mais très bien desservie par un service de bus. Le bus passe toutes les heures et l'arrêt se trouve à 3 minutes du gite ou un P+r à 20 minutes pas de souci de parking lors de votre visite de La Rochelle . Le propriétaire du gite est très accueillant et fait en sorte que votre séjour se passe agréablement . Magasin de proximités dans l'Houmeau et accès à la plage a pied ."

Il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire dans les environs, à 15-30 minutes de voitures (plages, vélo, balade en barque, villes balnéaires, parc aquatique..). Concernant le logement, cette petite maison est tout simplement magnifique, très joliment décoré et très bien situé à quelques pas de la Cotinière et pas très loin non plus du supermarché. Ne manque que des volets 😉 Une fois les valises posées, il ne reste plus qu’à louer des vélos et votre séjour sera parfait."

"The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...
