"Very cozy spot to just get away from the hustle and hustle of busy life. Absolutely loved all the German antiques and decor in this place and just a short drive from the Riverwalk. Owner was very sweet and friendly, and loved her sweet dog as well! Will definitely come back when we decide to make another getaway trip."

"It was a great stay. There is some small things that would have made our stay easier like putting nightstands by the bed to plug a phone or watch in on and things ljke that. But overall our stay was great and Angelica was amazing to communicate with. "

"We were a little nervous at first because this little piece of heaven is situated in a not so heavenly area. Gail was great, the nest was as cute as can be, the gardens were relaxing, we felt completely safe and enjoyed our stay INSIDE the gates. Gail’s family has preserved a piece of family history and it is beautiful."

"PROS: We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication and direction from the host. Property was easy to access and centrally located. CONS: The property had beautiful listing pictures, but the quality of the furniture was not very good. The beds were a little wobbly and some were squeaky. Also, the chairs in the living room felt like they were going to break when you sat on them. The baseboards and air vents were dirty and dusty. The rest of the house was very clean. "

"The stay was good. The beds were comfy. House was nice and clean. There were some tiny ants in the hallway bathroom. But only occasionally. We also had a problem getting the lock on the front door to open upon arrival. We called the two contact numbers listed in our paperwork but got voice mail. Called the company, and they were able to contact the owner and got the situation resolved. "
