"Love the hotel's ambience and excellent customer service. However, breakfast was not worth it. Next time I would skip breakfast as there are shops in the vicinity to grab fruits and pastries. Also, Marseille is now generally unsafe with pick pockets in the alleyway which abott the hotel and all other hotels in the vicinity. The cab driver warned us to avoid them in the evenings. "Hotel Ligo had a fun, colorful design. The room and lobby were very clean. Blackout blinds covered the windows at night. The bed was comfortable. However, the hotel needed more staff. When we arrived at breakfast, half the tables were covered by other guests' dirty dishes. The plates had run out. One of the coffee machines had no mugs. "The hotel is covered in scaffolding (Jan 25) so hard to see and parking nearby was impossible until we found Carnot public parking. This gives a free stay period and from there you can find the hotel on foot, sort out hotel parking and move the car to it."
