"Very nice property, the staff are very nice and friendly. The only issue was they don't assign the room according to the booking. I booked standard Seaview 1 BR apartment, they assigned handicap unit. The apartment layouts are not the same, so beware what you are booking and will be assigned. "

"Staff were nice, the hotel is basically at the top of a very steep hill and my room was even higher, parking is close if you're lucky. The food is good and the pool is good, the room was very spacious, good air con but I had to hunt for a power outlet. The bathroom was cleanish but rough, shower didn't work, bath was worn. Seen some Insects but it's that kind of country. "

Staff speak pretty much no English (thankfully I speak little french) and no translation for help/instructions, as well as breakfast is quite limited. "What a delightful little find this was! The property owner is absolutely delightful and so very helpful. The room is very spacious and the surrounding areas are lovely. The actual town of Cilaos is so quaint. Really loved it. The actual hotel is quiet, safe, and clean and very centrally located. The parking is very easy and secure as the gate locks at night. Overall, really great place to spend a night or several. Cilaos is a stunning place!"
