Not speaking Japanese made it difficult for me at times. For example there are 3 options for breakfast which staff might have explained to me but i did not understand. It did not matter as normally i like to eat outside hotel but the full breakfast on the last night was very good. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the river and countryside. It is quiet and the rooms are very nice. I used the private baths with no waiting. The bar is a great whisky and wine bar. Complimentary ramen was very nice and filling. Other snacks are also given free. Staff were so friendly, and managed around my language barrier with ease and friendliness."
