"Beautiful new hotel with modern design. It’s convenient to the station and it’s a short walk to the Bikan district. Everything was excellent, but I marked down one star on ‘comfort’ because the pillows are painfully hard. They are a hybrid Japanese pellet stuffing on one side and Western fiberfill on the other. Neither side was comfortable. "

"Basic hotel. The staff are excellent and attentive. The ceilings in the corridors are low. The mandatory exit signs are low in the corridors, with sharp edges. If you are over 5'10", you will bump your head on these signs. Rooms are larger than I thought they would be. Quite happy with the room, thank you. "

"Given a name like “Dormy” was not sire what to expect. This hotel had a lot of “extras” included, like the onsen bath, bot indoor and outside versions. Free ramen after 9:30, free icecream and massage chairs on the 9th floor. It was very close to the main historic part of Kurashiki, literally across the street. The rooms were a little small, bit the bed was comfortable. Also had laundry seevicrw for guests. "

"Great hotel with spacious room. The room was spotless and everything inside was new and in great condition. The bathroom doesn't have racks to hang towels and that's the only downside. Otherwise, it was a great stay!!"

"Love this chain hotel with free breakfast. Walkable distance from Kurashiki station. Free bike rental is a plus for me to move around in Bikan historic area."
