"Very cute hostel. The inside had great design and amenities, like extension cords, card games and hairdryers. Checkin was no-contact on a tablet. It had a little trouble finding my name but I guess it wanted my full name (first and last) typed in to find it. We stayed in a western style room with bunk beds. The overall ambiance was pleasant, with good lighting and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was well-maintained and contributing to our overall comfort during the stay. "This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. This hotel requires some pre-planning: getting the shuttle bus from Fukuyama, making sure basic needs are met (no onsite staff, except at breakfast time).
