"Wir sind an einem Tag angekommen, als es 32 Grad Aussentemperatur hatte. Da der Bungalow mit der Fensterfront genau zur Nachmittag/Abendsonne gedreht ist, war der Bungalow bis nach 23 Uhr auf 42 Grad aufgeheizt! Der Ventilator hat nichts gebracht; eine AirCon gibt es nicht. Schlafen war in dieser Nacht nicht möglich. Nicht auszudenken, wenn wir 11 Tage ein solches Wetter gehabt hätten. Hatten wir aber nicht. "Communication by the key holder by phone was impossible, they never answered phone . House was not as clean as I had expected . Bed linens didn’t fit the beds , only one duvet cover for a two duvet bed. Bathroom was a fall hazzard, floors stay extremely wet. It needs a shower curtain and no slip rugs for safety . No towels in the kitchen to do the dishes. Yard was not tidy. House shown in the pictures was not the house we received, needed painting. Could not get the tv to work. Would not...

"Very well appointed, comfortable and clean house in Uithoorn, easily accommodating a family of five. The area is family friendly with a play park opposite the house. The tram station is less than a 10 minute walk away which will take you into Amsterdam South. The supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away. The host generously provides bikes which we took on a 28km bike ride to Amsterdam Bos and back. Cora the host was very responsive and friendly. We can highly recommend this property. "

Linens are provided, but the listing didnt say it was addl 11E per person, fireplace is free, but wood wasnt, washer is listed, but it wasnt in the unit and there was a charge. Just didnt feel the listing was truthful and honest. Also, the heat did not work in 1 bedroom, Jacob said turn off the rest if the registers. "Wir waren zu zweit mit unseren beiden Hunden im Haus. Die Lage ist ruhig, zu Fuß erreicht man in ca. 5 Minuten die Einkaufsstraße und in 10 Minuten den Strand. Das Bad ist sehr klein und die Treppe, wie oft in Holland, sehr steil. Für uns war aber alles in Ordnung. Gerne wieder!"

"We know the area but usually stay elsewhere but as we only wanted a shorter stay we couldn’t go to our usual place. This was ideal & absolutely perfect for our needs. It felt more like a small residential street rather than a holiday park which was nice."

"Loved that the hotel was within a 30-min walk to plenty of sights and the central area of Amsterdam. The area around property is very quiet and away from the crowds, but just note that means you're a bit further away from restaurants/bars that are open late. "

"We had an amazing stay! The hotel was beautiful, staff kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend staying here! Easy to pop onto the tram and get around town. Found the hotel a little warm, but very cold outside (November) so be sure to pack layers. "

"Very convenient place to stay and the staff is really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing but pricey. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. We easily moved around the city on trams and buses; get the GVB multi day pass and go anywhere! Loved it. Even extended our stay by a night because the hotel was so excellent."
