As soon as you walk into the front you are surrounded by luxury gardens and the friendliest staff you could imagine. The place at night is unbelievable with everything lit up. Every sense is catered to and every little detail has been taken care of. Stay in the Baratheon Villa….you feel like you are royalty! "I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the Marriott Merlin Beach Resort. The staff are AMAZING. We absolutely loved being greeted with their warm smiles. They were extremely attentive to our needs during meals, sitting at the pool and at the beach by the Rum Shack. The resort is very nice and always clean. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were glad we did. The menus at the restaurants were pretty good and we always found something to our liking. If you are looking for a family getaway I would recommend this resort, but be aware it is a little off the beaten path. It is a short taxi or bus ride into Patong, but we didn’t feel the need to leave as all of what we needed was at the resort. There is even an elephant sanctuary only a 5 minute walk up the hill. We will definitely be returning."

"Beautiful property and very friendly staff. We got a pool villa and the ocean view was amazing. Don’t miss the amazing sunsets at the dock. The breakfast buffet was great. We were there for Songkran and they put together a special dinner buffet with entertainment which was really nice. I can’t wait to come back!"

"Everything about this property was amazing, including the staff. The service was straight from the heart. From the moment we checked in, Yok was very informative of all the benefits and facilities we could use. She also gave us an early check in which saved the day ❤️ When we got into the room, there was the Happy Birthday set up on the bed which really made my husband very happy as he was not expecting it, I requested for it but didn’t think it would be ready especially for the time as it was far from check in time. All the staff were amazing! During the duration of our stay and check out, Tubtab was very nice and professional giving us ideas on where we can go next. He also solved every mishap. Lai and Pom from the Zing Pool Bar has already recognized my daughter and helper within a short period of time! They were very friendly and I had a great time chatting with them. This trip has been so amazing that my daughter can’t wait to be back. "

"The pool was amazing. Clean rooms and facilities. Breakfast was great. The only thing i found where the pillows werent comfy but other than that i cant complain. The staff where amazing. I had a couple of issues with the glass sliding door not locking and a leak in the roof as soon as i told them it was fixed within minutes. I would highly recommend this resort."
