"Most amazing stay, with everything beyond expectations. Great and attentive staff but the natural and breathtaking setting is unmatched. Also the wildlife added to the jungle vibe. I was mixed before booking based on some reviews, but can honestly say I’m so happy we disregarded and got to experience this for ourselves. Stayed in several 5 star hotels during our stay, this one will stay long in our memories. Loved the pavilion as well, such a lovely and solid and well finished room, with all the comforts you’d want. Some speak of the prices / restaurant costs. Everything we ate was great and yes it’s higher than typical Thai prices, but the quality and taste was great and the setting of each restaurant was lovely. Still reasonable versus other 5 star hotels in the world. Dual side access to both sides of the island with an amazing beach one side and pool the other gave a great spread of relaxation and water sport options. And we visited the spa twice was great and up and there with what would be expected for a hotel of this quality (price I thought was also reasonable) "

"This was a very last minute stay due to an error with an excursion we’d booked however what a lovely error it was. We stayed just one night here and the room was large, bright and the bed was enormous. Very clean and comfortable and conveniently located surrounded by shops and restaurants. Would recommend. "

"This was our fourth stay at Banyan Villa and we hold the place close to our hearts. The pros: great location, super friendly staff, large rooms with nice balcony to the garden, good pool, very quite. The cons: very dated. Rooms need a facelift asap. Furniture etc. still a good place to stay in phi phi island !"
