"We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"I will list the pros and cons of the property. Pros : The photos are a good reflection of the house. The beds are clean and comfortable. The decor is good. The kitchen is equipped well. Its a good base and its secure. The shower is hot and good. Cons The area is not the best, however it is safe and quiet As mentioned in the other review the flooring outside the downstairs bathroom is unstready. "Good communication and ease of booking. Very easy to find. Parking not to difficult although not outside (as listing says). Great location with just a short walk into town. Heating good and needed in January. Loads of hot water for the group and good showers. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Would recommend. Only negative bathrooms not cleaned from previous booking."

"Really nice cottage to relax in after the many walks we had. Spar shop and local pub give you all essentials without having to drive. Would visit again but 11:00 check out instead of 10:00 would be much better for future visitors. "

"Stay was ok, wasn’t cleaned before hand, was a mess, but last minute cleaners did come out at 5pm, the gate was broken and hot tub was dirty also didn’t get clean until the next day. Was supposed to stay extra day but decided leave day earlier as we didn’t find it safe due to locks was broken and bathroom window didn’t shut properly and during the night was banging with the wind,overall wouldn’t recommend staying here. Cleaners were nice and helpful but this should have been done before hand. "

It had everything we could need including a Welcome pack - Information about house, wifi code, heating instructions, local area, busses, shops, etc. The moment we opened the door it felt welcoming, smelt nice, was warm, clean & immaculate decor. So many little extras :- UHT milk, tea bags, coffee, washing tablets, plenty of loo roll, tissues and more besides. Table football, large TV, Coffee machine, even plenty of toiletries in the bathroom & a hair dryer. There was even...
