I don’t know the staff members name but it doesn’t matter from my interactions with every staff member there is a consistency in how they respond always putting the customer first, I have been a customer now for a couple of years, I would highly recommend this hotel it’s great value for money mid week and weekends when I have returned with my family, the customers this venue attracts is a classy customer no idiots well run food and beverage with excellent choice of food with play centres for children Pizza Diner / 3 mile restaurant, with lounge on site for that coffee and WiFi catch up on emails…. Bedrooms loads of space on the larger rooms showers are the best rain and blast with unlimited spa quality soaps and hair products beds are to die for and I am 6ft 9 and even I fit in the king size, Good size wall mounted tv with local channels lots of charging points, iron ironing board hairdryer kettle abundance of tea and coffee hot chocolate early grey to name a few, top notch designer decor real strong robust doors with locks for added security there is a laptop safe in every room. Don’t change a thing keep it all the way it is as always big shout to Gavin "

"From turning up the driveway to the moment we left we felt like special guests who were staying in an historic English castle. The key aspect of this stay was that you are staying in a castle steeped in English and Scottish history. It has been adapted in keep with historic guidance to make it a 4 star hotel and so there are interesting rooms, nooks and cranny’s which make it a unique and exciting place to spend some special time with family. All the staff are very tentative and eager to please. The rooms open to all guests are elegant and there was ample seating and the rooms were all lovely and warm. Our room, The Cadwallader Room, was majestic and beautiful. Access was via the original spiral staircase which may be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. This would also be the case for a few of the other rooms so check in advance if you have concerns. Beautiful grounds with peacocks and lovely paths to stroll around. Ample parking. We had breakfast which was table service. Lovey full English and eggs Benedict. Other people had continental breakfast’s which also looked delicious. Great location to explore Hadrians Wall and other local historic sights. They give you a free Langley castle history tour each morning at 1015am which I would recommend as it’s nice and light hearted giving you a glimpse into the history the castle has witnessed up to the current day. I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to have a relaxed time where you are spolit. "

"Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Quiet area but short drive to lots of lovely places. Breakfast had a good choice. Like a lot of buffets the food could have been hotter. We managed to use the pool and hot tub on 2 occasions, you just have to keep checking for a quiet time. The pool area around the hot tub has some signs of slight mould. Jack who served in the bar and restaurant was lovely, he really couldn’t do enough for you and was constantly checking with guests if they needed anything. Malcom less so when asked if there were any chef specials available instead of apologising for something advertised not being available, I was told they were far too busy to be bothering with Chef specials.Bed comfortable, room a nice size with a good shower room. Busy hotel and would stay again if we were in the area. "

"The hotel were very helpful when requesting a slightly earlier check in due to attending a family wedding and needing to get a 3 year old ready to be a flower girl before hand. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was very spacious and the large bath was amazing! Breakfast was very expensive, especially for pastry's, orange juice etc but hit the spot."

"Although the hotel was dog friendly,and brilliant. the area around was not, we went to go for a meal in the pub next to hotel. No dogs allowed other eateries the same. Which was not handy."

"Delightful quirky accommodation; staff very friendly, lounge very homely with lovely log burner and plenty of glasses to enjoy your own drinks, snacks or takeaway food etc. Large communal tables which gives lots of opportunity to meet and socialise with other guests. Although our room wasn’t large it had everything we needed and was full of character. Alnwick has lots to see and do and lovely restaurants."
