"This Inn is out on a limb, but a lovely spot. Unfortunately, our visit was apparently just after local farmers feeding fields, which permeated the rooms. This didn't prevent us having a lovely stay. Top things were, the food (evening menu, and breakfast), the room was comfortable and clean, and the owners were pleasant and welcoming. Areas for improvement were, we had a very dusty corner of the bathroom which seemed to have been missed (despite everything else being clean), the bathroom window...

"Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. "What a beautiful venue. The room was spotless, well stocked tea, coffee milk etc. The breakfast was amazing and the owners were delighted. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"My advice to anyone going to Beverley do not stay at the game bird it should be shut down because in my opinion it is a health hazard my breakfast was not cooked it was cremated never again"

"The hotel didn't seem to be sure of our booking when we arrived. After that, the check in was swift. The room was grubby as was the bathroom. The duvet cover and the pillowcases were marked and clearly very old indeed. It was quiet and the location is great for visitors to Brigg. The price of the room was low and I suppose this was a case of ''getting what you paid for''"

"Booked a twin room which they'd double booked our room but they did managed to sort out 2 single rooms which actually worked much better for my housemate and I. Overall the building is very rustic and quite quaint, the rooms are decently sized, the beds are comfy enough for the short term and the bathroom is very modern. Unsure if there's wifi as I didn't have any for the whole stay but as i was visiting to see family it didn't really bother me that much."

"The pub restaurant has fantastic food and nice staff although the room was cold already when we arrived and an extra electric radiator was is place. We woke up at the middle of the night and all central radiators were off, we musste take the kids into our bed to warm up! The radiator was on only at 6:30 am. Not recomendável during winter time "
