"We stayed for our anniversary and we didnt actually realise until bed time that wed actually been upgraded to a queen size bed, which was absolutely blissful! So thank you for this. We spent half our holiday in bed. Cannot fault the cleanliness or room. Spotless. Had all the facilities we needed: kettle, tea etc, ironing board, luggage rack, hairdryer, towels. I did ring down to reception to ask for room service but other than for towels etc, they dont do this. I wanted to order some drinks...

"Wonderful stay in this charming, quiet, self contained room. Good wi-fi, nice kitchen and good, modern bathroom. My only wish is that the room would have had a bath but I knew it didn’t at the time of booking, so no complaints. Hosts were excellent, very friendly and were very respectful of privacy. "

"Had a lovely time during our one night stay after a long day of driving and sightseeing in Edinburgh. Very cute, comfortable place, great breakfast and walking distance to Lallybroch. Loved the country setting. Host was very welcoming. Really enjoyed it!"

"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"We loved the staff at Wilde so friendly and outgoing. We were less enamored with our rooms. Some things in both rooms we had didn’t function properly (blinds, lights, etc). Room was either freezing ir we had the heat off or felt like a furnace or we had it on. We also found that the “apartment” part of the room was not well utilized by us. "Apex made my first time visit in Edinburgh a wonderful one. It was an excellent experience. It is nearby tourist destinations and endless dining options. The hotel itself offers various amenities. If only my itineraries allowed me to use them all. They also proactively asked needs that they may not have initially included in my room. The option to do it online makes it really convenient for me. I will definitely use their services again when I go back and visit Edinburgh again."
