"Really nice pub in the centre of the village, staff were friendly and happy to help, room was very nice and comfortable bed etc and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Only spoiled by really by local clientele in the bar area being loud, vulgar, misogynistic and racist laughing loudly over such jokes and old enough to know better. I’m no prude and travel widely but just no need in such a nice bar. "

"What a great find. I was working nearby and needed somewhere to stay. The room was lovely, everything i needed. Couldn't get the tv to work at first, i asked and they came up amd replaced the tv, fantastic service. I had a great sleep and a lovely shower in the morning. 100% recommended.."

"Firstly, I should say that I did only pay £55 for the night, so I can't expect too much. I just needed a place to crash for the night as I in Leicester to catch up with some friends at the nearby Everards Beer Hall. I opted for this hotel over one of the budget chains as I thought it would have a bit more character. Unfortunately the common areas had a strange musty smell and looked very tired and dirty. The room itself was ok. The bed was on the soft side but I slept fine after a long day...

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Couldn't praise them high enough. Room nice and warm. Relative to cost good value for money. Disappointing there was one cup in room to share. No milk. Tray with sachets of coffee /tea on dirty. Half opened sugar sachet left from previous user. "

"Standard size clean bedding could do with a decor upgrade. No smells, was warm. Shared bathroom could definitely do with a refurb old and tired. But in all if you need a bed for the night it’s fine. "

"Toilet was slightly dirty, which is not acceptable especially during the current pandemic. Room was dingey and walls dirty, decor in bathroom particularly poor. One tap very stiff to turn. Annoyingly woken in middle of night by loud people around. Not a decent overall stay and we wouldn't stay again, nor recommend it."
