"If you wish to visit Canterbury, the Lodge provides an incredibly convenient and quite comfortable place to stay. For those outside the main Lodge, the stairs may prove problematic for some, particularly those with extensive luggage or mobility issues. "A nice clean room in a quiet area. It’s in a good location, a short walk from the beach and plenty of shops nearby. The host was friendly and laid back. I would stay again if I visited Ramsgate. "

"I would Not recommend this property to anyone. IT IS a RIP Off. I was Not able to get in the place and what i did See IT IS a really dump. Dirty, old and i would Not even let homeless peaple stay there. I am now fighting to get my Money Back."

"Beautiful old building but run down. Cold water not connected to shower and hot water not connected to sink. Needs a thorough cleaning. Carpet needs replacing. No one on duty at front desk. Manager is doing the best he can, very polite and kind. "

"They moved our time earlier on the ferries so we had to ditch one night in london so i booked this one on the photos and omg i should have run when another lady came out saying it was ok they didnt need it. I had a choice and picked the top floor. My hairs in my nose were burning . Toilet was sitting at a 45 degree angle and ask my hubby not to sit . I think i sleep 2 hrs all night. "A bright, clean and contemporarily furnished space with everything we needed. There were just a couple of (minor) niggles such as the fact that there's very little space to get around the bottom of the bed if you need the bathroom in the night and the bathroom cabinet could be moved higher up the wall; its current position inhibits access to the sink.But otherwise we had no complaints and we enjoyed our stay."

"Bright and cosy stay in a one bed flat in a small terraced house. Lively high ceilings and view to the sea through the baw windows. It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate.
