Some features were difficult to operate, perhaps until you got the hang of it (which we didn't) including the finicky wall switches for the ceiling lights/fans. It is possible that we didn't see the instructions, as it was somewhat dark overall (e.g. no spot light over the microwave or elsewhere in the kitchen, nor lamps near the couch or the chest of drawers). This made reading after dark...
