"This place is very charming and picturesque. The staff were very friendly and the food was tasty and served quick. The SPA is lovely and clean and it was a very relaxed stay. Stephanie (housekeeping) was absolutely amazing and so pleasant and polite when we need extra toiletries that were missing from our room. We bothered her to take a picture for us and she took the most amazing one for us to keep as a lovely memory of our visit! "

"What a stunning setting. As it is still part of Cambridge University the bedrooms are basically for students. The small double room we were in is basic but with beautiful linen, good quality towels and curtains. The building itself and the gardens are wonderful to walk around and enjoy. Highly recommend. Use madingley park and ride to get into the city centre. "

"The building and decor is fabulous. Real feeling of history and space. Outside bar and restaurant lovely on the river even with a regatta and a wedding on. "

"Very convenient location, close to M11 (5 min drive) and Park and Ride (10 min walk) but noise wasn't an issue as it was constant in the back ground, almost white noise. Rooms good, clean and with a bit of character. Grounds of the house lovely with avenue of trees to drive up to the building, and walk clearly signposted to local pub (20 mins walk, mainly through fields and woodland). Very pleasant stay."
