"What a gorgeous, cozy cottage! It would be rhe perfect place to curl up in for the winter. It's also close to Dublin airport and a relatively easy connection to downtown Dublin with the DART train in Malahide. The owner went out if his way to make our stay comfortable and he welcomed us when we arrived"

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The host was responsive to messages and allowed us to check in early, which was very gracious. He said he had communicated with housekeepers and it was ready to go. Upon arrival, there was a pile of laundry in the entrance and the beds were stripped of sheets. We chalked this up to miscommunication and the price of checking in early, no problem. The only other issue was we were only given 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days, so we had to buy some. "We had a great time here. Nice property and grounds to walk around. They have 2 sheep on the property (gated away) that we passed by on our walk through the woods (watch out for pesky nettle in Ireland)! Great hospitality from Eva (the caretaker) and the bread and jam basket was lovely. Clean and heat worked well. Plenty of parking if need be. Full kitchen stocked with everything we needed, even a French press! Ciaran had great communication and responded quickly to any questions we had before...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook even though it was a quick visit for one night. Patrick was very helpful throughout the entire experience and even let us use his personal freezer to store some items. The house was lovely along with the grounds/landscaping. The only recommendation I would make is the interior needed a little sprucing up maybe with a fresh coat of paint in a couple of the rooms."

"Was a little worried at first, as friends familiar with Dublin were hesitant about the safety of the neighborhood. Ultimately there were no problems, the property felt safe, and even when strolling in the evening, my family of 6 had a wonderful first visit to Dublin. The townhouse itself was comfortable, and clean, and the host was VERY prompt with answering questions, giving advice about how to get a cab to the airport, and checking in to make sure we were good. "Oonagh was fabulous with communicating before, during and after our stay. Her home was as described and very clean. She and her family were very generous with their hospitality. Our Shi-Tzu, Teddy, was made very welcome and we also enjoyed the company of Salem and Poppy. The location is perfect for exploring both Dublin and the beautiful Wicklow hills. We look forward to having another opportunity to spend time in Oonagh's lovely home."
