Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....

"The property is in a stunning location overlooking the mountains, a short drive to the pretty village of Kilmacthomas. There were ten adults in our party, for a family reunion. Games room well stocked, plenty of room and space for everyone. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, the host, Helen, was very communicative and we have no complaints in any respect,. "Nice spot in Quin. Best for persons with rental cars. Not really walkable (dangerous road without a bright yellow vest) to Quin village but taxis and Uber is available, if you’re lucky and patient. Clean, welcoming, all you need for a long stay including washing machine, dryer, fridge, dining ware, cutlery, etc. Would stay again. "
