"We had the loveliest Christmas at Manslea house! The house itself is amazing - it’s huge, with enough rooms for our 11 family members to stay and relax in comfort. We had elderly parents in their late 80s, young adults and middle aged folk, plus a toddler and a 10 year old- and they all loved it. "Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."
