"Have stayed at Palace before and had a larger room at the front which was nicer. The room was clean and tidy nonetheless with all one would expect. Paying extra for onsite parking is a nuisance but am aware of it now. Very nice character building to stay in with great access to local amenities."

"In a nice part of the city. Junior suite is a bigger room with a couple easy chairs and a big window. Good view of the square. Room was super cold but they brought a heater. Breakfast area is really nice: super light next to a glass building with tropical plants. "

"We had a brilliant stay and we would certainly recommend. Lovely location. Really peaceful and green. Plenty of parking. Check in was fast and friendly. Room was excellent. Spacious. Comfortable. Really nice and quiet. No disturbance or noise at all. Spotlessly clean. Great shower. Will certainly return!! "

"Hotel is well located and the staff are super friendly. It’s all quite new and I’m sure the normal rooms are great - unfortunately I was given a room specially equipped for the disabled meaning a very strange bathroom configuration (very high loo, very low basin, wet room). Breakfast (inc service) was excellent but they could do with an extra coffee machine!"

"Really good location. Friendly and helpful staff. It was clean, the bed was comfy. The tv comes with a chromecast so you can cast your phone which helps. Nespresso pods and twinings tea in the room. Such a ideal location. Right oppositie ncp car park which was tenna for 24hrs. Very convenient. Town centre is on your doorstep, aswell as the castle, plenty of restaurants, a convenient tesco across the way, for any bits. "One of the cheapest hotels in Notts but the quality for the price is unmatched. Very fair prices, great location and very friendly staff. Staff aren’t afraid to go out of their way to help you during your stay if you require a phone charger or anything just enquire with them at the front desk. "The hotel staff were very helpful getting the sofa bed made up. Great that there is a gym and a swimming pool. The steam room next to the pool was perfect for after a long day. The swimming pool itself was too warm in my opinion so we didn't use it. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. "A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "This was a great stop over, I can’t thank the staff enough, they were so lovely and helpful. The twin room was clean and adequately furnished with tea/coffee facilities. They kindly stored our bags for free before we were able to check in and again all day after we checked out. The breakfast was fabulous, cooked and continental, lots to choose from and the cooked food was nice and hot. Definitely recommend "

Great Hotel in a Brilliant Location

"Great stay at this excellently located hotel in Sheffield city centre. Only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Upgraded to a junior suite, which was spacious, had great views and a lovely shower and separate bath in the bathroom. Good breakfast whichwas buffet style, with everything from ceral and fruit, to a full english with danish pastries if you are not too full. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The spa facilities were also excellent."
