"We came for a couple of hockey games and loved staying at this beautiful, cozy farmhouse. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, including recommending local restaurants. The beds are so soft and Lisa’s decorating makes you feel right at home. We had gorgeous fall weather so we spent a lot of time out on the deck with our morning coffee. The kitchen had what we needed and our hosts even left some welcoming snacks and great coffee. It is peaceful and quiet, yet only 15 minutes from downtown....

"Great place to stay in the Mankato, MN area. Nice, quiet property butting up to a city park with great facilities for kids. The property is a beautiful old (1912) church converted into two separate suites, each with a huge full kitchen and a large living/gathering area, and either 3 or 4 bedrooms. We hosted a total of 16 people with no problems. It just took a bit of schefuli forvthe bathrolms, as there is only 1 per suite."

This was followed by text messages (that we didn't see because phones were not in hand) asking permission for owner (who lives right next door) to come inside to check mouse traps that were set throughout the house (or just to make sure we left doors open as instructed by the notes that were attached to...

"The owners were very happy to make sure we had what we needed. A few requests were addressed immediately. All in all it was good. The only problem was that you had to park about 100 feet away from entrance and walk over a grassy hill. Most times wet. "

"The host was truly a Superhost! He was available at all hours (seemingly) for any questions or issues we had and if there was anything not 100%, he took care of it right away. He made sure we had a welcome gift at our arrival and the home came equipped with everything we needed for a perfect week with family. "This was a great spot on Lake Washington. Perfect access for ice fishing. Has just about everything you could need. Would've been nice to have a few more amenities such as a grill and firepit for year round use, along with a shovel during the snowy months. Great wifi service and connections."
