"We didn’t think our trip to Ireland could get any better, but a last minute booking at the Burren Art Gallery proved to be a highlite of our trip! This is not your typical VRBO! This is a completely renovated Church from the 1700’s with a kickin’ sound system right in the middle of the Burren. We loved learning about the area, reading the hosts’ Burren information and visiting the surrounding sites. Super, super gracious owners brought us a food basket and made our stay really nice! "Such a fun space with living area, kitchen & plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space for all of us (5 ). Kitchen could be better stocked with some basics (salt, pepper, oil) but good set up for a small group. Excellent location with tasty pub, restaurant, cafe options within walking distance. Off street parking was perfect - finding the place was a bit tricky but once you understand, it's great. Thank you to "Peter" who met us and was very helpful & responsive via text. Will totally stay here...

"Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

"The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works...

Easy bus travel—5 min walk to the pub or flag the bus on the road; easy travel to Galway and An Spidéal (look up galwaybayfishing.com for a fantastic day out, finishing with a meal of the fish you caught in a local restaurant …#bestdayever!!). 1.5 hrs to Bunratty Castle too!!"

"Beautiful setting for this cottage! We loved our week stay and had a great base to travel in this area. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. We also had so much fun feeding the family donkeys!! Please note that the property is not in the city area of Gort (like the map shows)-it is a few miles outside, in the country. Our family hopes to be back soon."

"Kathleen was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. While there was an initial concern about birds in adjacent, tall trees, it turned out to be a peaceful, quiet setting and very comfortable. We used it as a base for exploring Galway and surroundings, including the Kylemore Abbey."
