"This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!"

"We had such a lovely trip! The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy. There was everything that youd need or want including board games, tv, access to local ammenities ect. It was a huge bonus for us that the host allowed our dogs to stay too, they are a huge part of our family so getting to take them made our trip extra special. "The apartment was pefect for our first two nights in Scotland. Easy to get to once we arrived in Edinburgh and everything was explained clearly by Mark, so we new exacty what to expect. The apartment was very well equipt with everything we needed and some wonderful extras during our stay. The woodstove was an awesome highlight as we kept warm playing games at night and enjoying the wine and treats left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend as a stop during a Scotland roadtrip or longer stay."

"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge.
