"Don't be put off any the tired exterior of Grove House. The apartment is well presented, well equipped though you must be prepared to climb 38 steps to get to this attic location. The upside is breathtaking views of the sea. Low star for communication is that although owner lives in ground floor there is no attempt to make personal contact. Odd."

"Property had all we needed for a weekend break away. Alastairs communication was excellent and he made sure we were kept up to date with check in and check out. Location was beautiful and close to local shops and beauty spots! We had two young children with us and they enjoyed the stay as much as the adults! If returning to the area we would stay at Alastairs again. "

"This place is for people who love peace and quiet and privacy, we do. Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach. Location worked well for us, we used our car to get around, nearest supermarket is in Dunoon about 15 minutes drive away. The property is well maintained, decorated, comfortably furnished, heating, WiFi...
