"I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with this place. the scenery is picturesque, everything was sparkling clean and even better than described. Lots of parking. Everything Charlottesville has to offer is within a 10 minute drive. Carter mountain is literally less than 3 miles from the property. I couldn’t believe how nice this place was especially given that it was more affordable than most hotels in the area. Can’t wait to stay again. "

"We were rained-out of a long planned camping trip and, luckily, found this at the last minute. The Rococo room is beautiful and very clean, and the deck with BBQ is quite useful. It is spacious and bright. The grounds are fun to walk around. Seeing the different areas is really interesting. I especially liked the yacht floating in the pond. Overall this was a great stay! "

"The property is very unique. It is off of a dirt road and I would suggest initially getting there while there is daylight. There are multiple steps to this room (located in the Castle building of the property), therefore it is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. The dipping pool was not filled at the time of our stay. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is the shower temperature and pressure were a bit difficult to regulate but it seems the tub is better...
