"living in the area, my wife and I enjoy the Kern River and the surroundings, we often tent camp but felt this time we would stay at the lodge, we have a 45lbs dog and that was no issue there. The rooms are clean and taken care of. The store acroos the street has breakfast and burgers. The place was quite and the steps to the river access is a great feature. I would recommend this 10 out of ten times. "

"My wife and our little dog stayed here for the last weekend in March. We really liked the kitchenette that allowed us to make & keep food/snacks with us for our daily excursions. I so appreciate a 12 cup coffee maker in the room that allowed me to use my own filters & coffee to enjoy whilst walking across the highway to sip by the river's edge. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It was nice to drive just 15 minutes to get a fresh hot pizza from town. We love exploring mountain roads and got as far as Poison Creek campground at 35.934845, -118.396905 then the snow/ice was too deep to continue to Big Meadow via Forest Route 22S12. That being said, we will stay here again in the future and bring steaks so we can grill on the deck. Thanks Corral Creek Lodge!"

Terrific meals at Ewings, KRBC, El Rio and Cheryl's! Tried fishing, no luck, but still fun. We'll be back and hopefully the property will be available for us!Kent"

"Had a great stay for a solo fly fishing trip on the Kern River. The property was just I expected based on photos and descriptions. Host communication was clear and helpful. Enjoyed the wood stove and limitless firewood each evening. Would definitely stay here again."

"We grew up in the Kern River Valley. If you’re looking to gather with friends/family this place offers a great inviting space! It’s close enough to walk to town and cozy enough to want to stay in. We will definitely look to rebook in future visits. "
