"We stayed just one night having previously been here for a lovely meal. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent and very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. I am sure we’ll be back again."

"The hotel were kind enough to let me check in super early as i had to meet clients at 12.30 and wanted to park up and drop my bag off beforehand. A lovely hotel on a very quiet street - would thoroughly recommend. "

"Bartles Lodge is a gem of a hotel. It’s situated in a very peaceful and serene village, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Spotlessly clean, and a lovely welcome from the owner which included a vase of flowers, some cookies, and a personal message in scrabble letters on the fridge! Everything you need is provided for. The views from the back of the cottage were superb. We were blessed with wonderful weather which made the whole week even more perfect. A lovely lit patio patio area to enjoy a drink on warm summers night.

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
