"This is an older hotel but appears to be in good shape. Personally, I liked the older feel this place had. It was very clean. The staff was great. The shower in my room wasn’t working great, so they moved me to another without hesitation. There is a restaurant and bar attached. The prices are a little high, but the portions were good, and I would expect high prices in a tourist town, especially one in Alaska. "

"Nice affordable hotel across from the airport in kenai. Super nice and accommodating staff. One thing to note is the lobby closes at 9 PM and opens at 9 AM. I had a late check-in because of weather and I called and it wasn’t a big deal. They leave a key for you if it’s past 9 PM. There is a little breakfast area with basics: oatmeal, some fruit, milk, yogurt, toast, granola bars, coffee, and tea. Rooms have a microwave and the beds are comfortable. It was clean. No complaints. If you’re sensitive to noise the walls are fairly thin so I could hear other guests, however I would stay there again. Restaurants and grocery stores are right around the corner along with Walmart and Home Depot. "

"The listing was exactly as advertised and in a nice little neighborhood right in the heart Kenai several blocks from the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary equipment to cook and feed a family during our two weeks stay. The bathroom had plenty of linens and all the condiments you would ever need including some you may have forgot at home. The very first night we stayed we had a moose visitation at the front door and on the second night the most spectacular northern lights display off of the porch. The location is very close and convenient to all the stores and restaurants of the city but more importantly only several blocks from the beach access which we took advantage of numerous times during our stay. We also found numerous hiking trails in the area within walking distance of the house. Overall excellent time was had and enjoyed during our stay at this warm and comfortable house. We would recommend it and of course if given the opportunity to book it again on another stay to the area we would without hesitation. of six"

"Great place for the activities we wanted to do. So clean and just nice. We actually enjoyed coming back every night after hiking since this place was so well done. Very peaceful and the neighbors were nice. "

"We were so pleased with our accommodations! The owners gave clear directions to the property and the bus was warm and toasty when we arrived. The bus is stocked with every convenience that you may need, firewood, cookware, tableware, grilling tools, seasonings, lighters and matches, towels, spare blankets, etcetera. However you are a 15 minute drive away from your choice of supermarkets if you do forget or need anything. It was a chilly Alaskan autumn during our stay but the bus is equipped with a wood burning stove that keeps it very comfortable. The interior feels spacious and the bed is super soft. The goats greeted us upon our arrival and walked us right over to the bus. They were super friendly and fun to watch and hang out with. It was lovely to take the kayaks out as well as sit by the fire and watch the float planes. I would highly recommend the schoolie to anyone who doesn't mind walking to an outhouse. It's a step up from camping and we really enjoyed having so much property to ourselves for the privacy, solitude, and tranquility. "

"Fr the moment we entered it felt at home, had everything we needed and more and even had coffee and popcorn for us! My only complaint would be that the walls are a bit thin and you could hear voices and other noises coming from units under or beside. Although the noise was a normal amount it still was noticeable. I would still stay here again though, because everything else was perfect!"
