Check in was fine people were polite. Found a bed bug on us after we left. Staff essentially blamed us for the bugs. We are extremely clean people and don’t have bed bugs at home. Would not return.

The view of the Kenai River alone is worth the price of the stay in this hotel, but the rate is reasonable, the staff is friendly and the bed is comfortable as well.

Overall it was a good stay. We were there for 2 nights for a fishing charter. The room itself was basic. The only complaint I had was that it smelled like used socks. The view and the fact that it was right on the river over compensated for the room smell. The hotel has a fish cleaning station and gas powered grills that you can use, which was amazing.

This is a rustic, older hotel. It is nice enough for what it is. Don't expect 5 star hotel, but it isn't run down and dirty- just older. The staff was very nice. View of Kenai River is gorgeous.
