"The beautiful property is nestled in a group of pine trees away from the town. The house is roomy with large open rooms. The host is lovely and was very accommodating with our special request. The host lives next door and was always available. I understand we were the first group to stay at the house so there are a few things that could be improved mostly in the kitchen area. "We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."
