"My spouse and I had the best time staying in Shannon's tree cottage! It was eat-off-the-floor clean when we arrived, and the general instructions on the table were very clear and simple. The dehumidifier was a nice touch, as were the heated mattress pads, which I didn't know i needed in my life until now. It was so nice to wake up to such a beautiful rainforest setting every morning. Thank you Shannon for making our stay in Volcano so memorable! "

"We started out by staying on the Kona side. We also knew that to go to the National Park would require more time, so we booked one night with you. It truly was not enough time. Your online listing does not do you justice. All 5 of us wanted more time in the Jungalow! Everything was perfect! Cozy, charming, peaceful and everything we needed to unwind. "This house was a wonderful place to stay. There was no air-conditioning in this place but it was not needed. The wind coming off the sea was sufficient to cool the house and sometimes at night it was cold. The sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs was the best "white noise" to fall asleep or read your favorite book. The place is stocked with the tools you need to cook with. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The place is conveniently located close to the Volcano National Park so you can vist the Volcano. We did get to see the eruption during our stay. Several hiking trails beaches located near by. Kona is about two hours away but is worth the drive for the beautiful scenery. Mauna Loa is beautiful. The owners are very nice and are easy to reach if you have questions. Don't feed the chickens! Lol"

"The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most convenient, but we loved the vibe!"

"Everything was good except that I didn't realize the see through glass doors for living room(It's already present in pictures but I overlooked). Host immediately fixed the issue we had with sink drain. Very calm and cozy place."
