"We loved staying at Jennifer and Jeff's guest house. It was private and beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive. The house is in a nice location to explore HVNP, Hilo, or Puna. This was a very comfortable stay for my wife and I. We would stay again. Mahalo"

"This house deserves more stars than 5. The one category that I rated 4 stars was website accuracy because the photos don’t do it justice, from the house itself to the magnificent views from inside each window. Our family group consisted of a five year old, his parents and one set of grandparents and each of us loved this place. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfort and beauty of the setting. There is a lovely wraparound porch and, as the description says, each bedroom has its own bathroom. Beds are comfy and bedding provides warmth for the cold nights. The managers are always accessible and provided immediate help with a couple of issues. The first was with the WiFi, which once reset properly worked great. The second was the water heater which gave up the ghost our last full day. Water heaters don’t last forever and we just happened to be there when this one gave out so we had no hot water for showers or dishwashing that day. We very much appreciate the way this was handled by the managers and owners. I should also note that we discovered that at least two of the bathrooms have on-demand water heaters under the sinks so there was still access to some hot water. There is a lot to see on the big island and we plan to be back. We hope to be able to stay in this house again next time we visit. "

"The property was exactly as described. Great location and central to all we wanted to do. We slept great with ocean breezes and never had a problem with no a/c. The driveway was steep but we knew that from our instructions and we expected that with level where we parked and unloaded."

"Quiet neighborhood with a rainforest like atmosphere. Covered outside area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and libations in the evening after a grand hike around the rim. The beds were soft. The gas fireplace was awesome on a rainy evening after dinner. This place was perfect for our stay and we would love to stay here again given the opportunity. "

"If you go to the Big Island, this is where you want to stay. The view is the best. We saw sea turtles every morning. It was less than 10 minutes from a good-sized farmer's market. All the stuff in Hilo is just 30 minutes away. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Lots of beach gear! Thank you."
