"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"The cottage looks lovely from the outside and even better once you get inside. the owners have clearly taken a lot of time and effort to provide everything you need for your stay. I used a pair of light washable slippers provided. The kitchen was full of extras like cooking oil, and a welcome basket with biscuits and eggs. "Upon arrival, told a key and fob for alarm would be in key box, it wasn't. Opened door, alarm goes off. Having to stand there with all neighbours on street looking at us, trying to explain that im renting the property and don't know how to rurn alarm off, EMBARRASSING. Getting inside to find cob webs and spiders EVERYWHERE was not nice. Bunk bed is broken right on the middle so cannot be slept on.
