"Timber house is situated close to the lake in a quiet natural setting. The hosts were truly exceptional starting with a delicious breakfast cooked to order. I loved the carrot muffins and french toast. My car broke down in the parking lot and the host was able to connect me with the help I needed. I highly recommend Timber House for a retreat close to quaint friendly towns and nice restaurants. "

"Loved that windows in room open! Did not love the kids hockey team running wild all over the hotel out of sight of their tailgating parents! Hotel staff did their best, but it was constant running and games in the hallway, a parade in and out of the pool (dripping wet, in the elevator! And all over the floors!) Be sure to check with hotel prior to booking if you’re looking for quiet enjoyment of facility it’s best to avoid tournament weekends!!"
