"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We really enjoyed staying in the house. Its an adorable little cottage that had everything we needed to unwind and relax. The hot tub was great in the evenings, the kayaks were fun during the day. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the water level was very low. But obviously that is not something the owners can control. It just made it a little difficult to get down to the kayaks, but other than that it was a perfect place to stay."

"Overall very good great lake access boat slip worked well, fishing was great outside barbecue grill hadn't been cleaned in sometime hot tub also needs some attention."

The sitting was within about 15 minutes of First Monday, the trees were so peaceful! There were so many amenities that we didn't even have time to take advantage of! We all said we want to come back so we can enjoy this amazing home again!"
