"I had read some not so great reviews before leaving however I found Amora Lagoon a lovely hotel. It is a hotel in another country so things aren’t always going to be exactly what you expect from a local hotel however I found it quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and beautiful, the room clean and comfortable with air conditioning and only a few minutes drive to the airport. The shower pressure in two of the three rooms we stayed in was not fantastic but again...

"For the price I paid, I had lower expectation. It turned out to be a great hospitality. Rooms were cozy and spacious bathroom. They even provided complimentary breakfast, that was delicious so is the tea. The owner was humble and he had a great customer obsession. "

"Jennis and his wife are extremely helpful. The hotel is clean and well kept. Not only were they able to assist in my commute to the airport and back, they were able to help me to items I needed, plan other upcoming trips and even store my luggage until my final stay before returning home. Jennis even kindly gave me a ride to the bus stop and would not even take any money!! Top notch establishment!"

"The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We weren’t able to get the airport shuttle, but just did an uber for about $6 USD. The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD. It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated. "This hotel was perfect! The staff is super friendly and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. They were there for us if we needed anything and were very helpful!
