"We stayed here for 3 weeks after flying in from the US to visit family in the nearby area. We didn't want to be in a hotel for 3 weeks as we would find that claustrophobic. This was the ideal solution. The park staff were excellent and could communicate easily in English and German if needed. It is extremely quiet here with easy access to the excellent Netherlands freeways. The indoor pool and the swimming lake were loved by my visiting grandkids. "It’s a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting right on the River Maas. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Our Superior room was huge, and had views over the river, our son had a Comfort room, smaller but still a nice size and both had amazing large white marble shower rooms with walk in shower. No kettle to make tea, but luckily I had spotted that in another review and took one. Coffee machine. We ate in the Michelin star restaurant and had an excellent meal, flambed at the table....

"Lovely hotel in a village just a few miles from Venlo. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I had one of the best nights sleep in months. Breakfast was served downstairs in the restaurant and the cold meats, cheese etc served on a platter, with the bread, croissants etc in a separate basket. Plenty for two people "

"The trip was amazing. Easy check-in. We were slightly early, however the staff accommodated us. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were absolutely fabulous. On-site facilities were out of this world, e.g. fitness centre and swimming pool. Bar was great too with service to one's table. Would definitely return. Very highly recommended."

"Hotel with a restaurant nicely located in the vicinity of a stud farm. The hotel staff is friendly but the farm people are less. I tried to look at some horses together with my 9yo daughter but have been yelled at by a typical German, that this is private land and we should leave. A real downturner. So if you stay at this hotel, avoid the very neighbourhood."

"This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and the service is always flawless. A special thank you to the receptionist (I think his name is Punak) for his kindness when I needed it most following a long flight and a cancellation to my connecting flight, I really appreciate it. The only recommendation I would make is to add international channels as the TV is only in German - for an International hotel by the airport, it woukd benefit many others."

Convenient comfortable hotel

"The hotel is convenient for Kaarst and is about 20 minutes taxi out of Dusseldorf. I’ve stayed many times and is comfortable. Most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff are a little surly but efficient. The food from the restaurant is limited but very tasty and the server at dinner is always welcoming and friendly "
