It was lovely An easy-to-reach owner with a renovated cottage and a just gorgeous view Fantastic deck and lovely views A paddle board and a canoe were available to have fun, and all you needed, like a life vest and noodles, all good stuff Super clean sheets and towels Robes are available for your comfort A hot top on the deck Highly recommended It is the best fit for six people, not more"

Beautiful 4-seaon home with Rideau River frontage. Plenty of space to dock a boat. Easy entry into water for guest use of our kayaks, SUP and canoe

"We loved our stay at the Rideau River Retreat. It was a great place to use as our home base for Ottawa tourism. We also enjoyed Kemptville itself. Meghan was a great hostess. She was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The handbook for the stay was one of the most complete I’ve seen and very helpful! I highly recommend this lovely spot!"

"Poorly maintained. Had trouble u nlocking & opening front door upon arrival. Neighbour helped. Doors do not fit properly. Decking, sidings peeling & holes. Ants in kitchen. Cover on BBQ does not fit properly. Could not do any fishing due to weeds but told i could. Picture in listing disheaving. Pool table shown but no cues or balls. Chairs very uncomfortable. "A good choice. The Sonder model, at least at this location, which was my first experience seems to be akin to a no frills about it, self service shopping experience. Minimal contact with staff, who were very friendly and helpful and easy checkin simply by showing up. The app works well. I had everything I needed, almost and slept well except for the false fire alarm. The room was great. Only two complaints. No USB ports and no lotion.
