"Great location and wonderfully groomed grounds. The room though was substandard. From modem speed internet (used the open Aston Wi-Fi instead) to sub pillows, old filter type coffee maker and the old key holder fortunately worked. Small things, yes, but easy things to fix. Room looks like its easy to maintain but wasn't met to be comforting to guests. About sum's it up."

"This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at Islander on the beach in the Hawaii building. It has a view of the water but not direct on the boardwalk so it’s much more private. Being on the 3rd floor you can leave the slider door open and hear the ocean. This unit was great with having the extra table holding the microwave it gave you more counter space by the sink. "Nice condo with everything you need. We stayed for three nights after extending our stay on Kauai. The views of the ocean are spectacular. There is the highway very close to this condo but the noise is minimal.The bed was very comfortable and opening the balcony door allows for a nice breeze through the condo.Walkable to the town of Kaapa and the Coconut Grove shopping center.
