"As someone who has traveled to more than 30 countries, this is the first time I will write such a comment. The excursion manager of the hotel is an incompatible person named Zizu. He discriminated against us among other guests because we did not participate in the trip he wanted. He scammed us and charged us $20 extra per head. "Veli is an amazing resort to visit. I cannot say enough about the staff at Veli. They were all so attentive to our needs and did everything in their capabilities to keep us happy. I really appreciated the management cocktail party because it gave us a chance to meet everyone who makes Veli such a wonderful experience. "The customer service at the resort was excellent. Our favorite encounter was with Xavier who had a cart full of fresh coconuts that he cuts up for you! He had a wonderful way to interact with all of us. The resort is beautiful, very well kept and super family friendly! "

"The experience was ok, breakfast was good, they give you towels for the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, but the photos doesn’t match exactly as the ones advertised on hotels.com and not even similiar to the ones in google maps (it shows a swimming pool that doesn’t exist) it’s a few blocks from the prison and next to a mosque so prepare for the 430am prayers from really loud speakers, also there is doing a super loud construction of a building next door "

"We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella. "The property was beautiful overall. There was some remodeling at the nearest restaurant that required me to do a bit of walking from my resort area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a special way of welcoming you back if you were a returning guest. Overall, 9/10. "

A relaxing stay

"An idyllic island. We stayed as a couple in a Dhabi Loft Villa which was a beautiful two floor apartment with direct access to a gorgeous part of the coral reef just a few minutes swim away from the comfort of our bed. We loved every part of our stay: well equipped gym for early workouts, the craftsmanship of the interiors, the soft music in the restaurant never too laud, the gorgeous spa for a relaxing time before dinner, the privacy of the room and the beaches where we truly felt like we were on our own (even though the hotel had 83% occupancy during that week!). The staff is so kind, attentive and friendly if you want them to be - some true gentlemen will cater for you at the restaurant at lunch and dinner. The food is so fresh, sustainable and ever changing to allow you to discover the multitude of dishes, vegetables and fruits the area can offer. I highly recommend half or full board and to pay the extra for the Seafood BBQ night - we had the most amazing (unlimited) lobsters and giant prawns that evening. We will be back. Great hotel, staff and views

"What a wonderful stay we had. The hotel is right on the bikini beach so you step out of the hotel and BAM beach time. The hotel is clean and fresh and everyone has their role to play. Great snorkeling experience and felt safe and well looked after. Meal options are fab and the buffet dinner is a treat. We stayed in the deluxe room with balcony, room 1704 and it was amazing to see the sun set, beach from our bed. We met Anisur whilst dinning and he was always so friendly with us. Giving us tips off lovely food and drinks to try at that time. He was attentive with our dishes and drinks and always was very respectful and happy and smiling. A true asset as out a lot of other staff we met but couldn't remember there names. Absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming again."
